The Houses/School Song

All new students of Hogwarts are sorted by the sorting hat into one of four houses; Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw.

The houses are used for sleeping in, socialising with your house in the common room and sometimes for house lessons. Most of the lessons are taken with just your house but sometimes two houses are taught the same lesson at the same time by the same teacher.

Gryffindor –

Slytherin –

Hufflepuff –

Ravenclaw -

  • The common room has a great view of the mountains.
  •

Sing this song to your favourite tune and as fast or as slow as you want. After three everyone, one . . . two . . . three . . .

    Hogwarts, Hogwarts, Hoggy Warty Hogwarts,

    Teach us something please,

Whether we be old and bald

    Or young with scabby knees,

Our heads could do with filling

    With some interesting stuff,

For now they’re bare and full of air,

Dead flies and bits of fluff,

So teach us things worth knowing,

    Bring back what we’ve forgot,

Just do your best, we’ll do the rest,

And learn until our brains all rot.
