Godric's Hollow

Godric's Hollow is the birthplace of Godric Gryffindor, and is a notable wizarding village, although Muggles also live there. Situated in the West country, it is a very famous village. Wright, the man who forged the first golden snitch was also from there. James and Lily Potter lived in Godric's Hollow with one year old, Harry. It is here where they met their downfall, and the half-destroyed cottage remains as a tribute to them.

There is a square in the middle of the village with several hops, a post office, a pub and a church. The church graveyard is the location of James and Lily Potter. It is also the location of Dumbledore's mother and sister, who are buried in there too.

Other notable residents have included Bathilda Bagshot, author of A History of Magic.
